Can a .177 Caliber Break Barrel Pellet Gun Kill a Coyote?

In this video, I terminated an animal that was attaching my pigeon hutch with my RWS pellet rifle. By chance, the event was caught on video by a game camera that I had monitoring the hutch.  The rifle in this video is a RWS Diana model 36.  This rifle was made in West Germany in 1989.  I bought it in 1990 and it has never failed once.  It is all original from the factory. Not one piece of the rifle has ever been replaced. It still shoots like brand new.

This video was caught by accident by a game camera I had placed to watch over a pigeon hutch that was being attacked by predators and I wanted to find out what it was.  It just so happened that the camera was recording video at the precise time of the shot and this incredible feat was captured on video. I just so happened to be walking up to the hutch with my RWS model 36 in hand when I saw the coyote who was distracted by the birds and did not notice my approach.   What this video demonstrates, is that with precision accuracy, a very large animal can be effectively and humanely dispatch with a very small low powered weapon.
